Rental Information
We have a large collection of costumes from previous shows we have worked on. Feel free to contact us to see if we already have items in stock. And if we don’t already have something you need, ask about the possibility of creating and constructing it. If we are available, your entire show can be built from scratch. We are happy to work within your budget to achieve the look for which you are needing. If we are creating a show from the beginning (and you are in the Kansas City area), we can come to a rehearsal, measure your actors, and begin the design and build process. The costumes will be delivered to you a few days before your first dress rehearsal for fitting and alterations.
Rental Policies
Please take care of all clothing and items while they are in your possession. We ask that no tape or adhesive be placed inside the costumes for labeling purposes. Most items will be delivered on a plastic hanger. Please refrain from using wire hangers as they have a tendency to rip the fabrics. If there is a need for safety pins during the run of your show, please only use the large and heavy duty types. The smaller the safety pins, the more likely they will snag and rip the material. Please do not wash the clothes. If you need, gentle Febreeze in the crotch and armpit areas are acceptable on most items. We will launder the items upon rental. A separate bill will be sent for all lost and damaged items after the run of your show. We understand normal wear and tear (especially if your show is dance heavy). Please also try to avoid eating or drinking while in the costumes. We also ask that makeup not be placed on the back of actors’ necks as this does stain the collars. Please teach your actors to use the appropriate amount of makeup set spray or powder.
